KONIGSHOFER MOTORSPORTS SPORTING A NEW LOOK AND FIELDING A NEW TEAM
Konigshofer Motorsports has announced a partnership venture with Canada’s newest online performance parts retailer, Speed North Inc. This newly forged agreement occurs on the heels of the launch of Speed North’s Web site (www.speednorth.com) and in-store racing retailing operation.

Konigshofer Motorsports has also confirmed that they have become a two-car team. Mike Konigshofer will drive in NMRA Hot Street, NMCA Pro Stock, OSCA Pro Stock and the Milan All Motor Friday night races, beginning in 2009. Mike will be entering the scene with a 1989 Mustang. John Konigshofer will continue to drive the 2008 Mustang and the team is committing to a full season with the IHRA Pro Stock series and selected ADRL races.

Speed North Inc. was established in response to a growing need for a Canadian race specialty retailer – both online and in-store. The company is owned and operated by the Konigshofers with Mike leading the online store and serving as President and John managing technical operations. Speed North Inc. specializes in engine building and offers dyno service with their in-house dynamometer. John has been named CASCAR Engine Builder of the Year twice and is highly regarded in the industry, on both sides of the border.
